Arrival in Delamont

The bus picked us up at 10am and it was an excitingly bumpy journey to the centre.  We dumped our bags in the lounge and went to a briefing with Cath, who explained all we need to know about the centre and its rules to keep us safe.

We went up to the house and found our dorms.  Some of us wrestled more than others with the duvet covers.  Poor Harvey discovered that it wasn't his fault he couldn't get his cover on his duvet: it was a single duvet cover and a double duvet!!

In the middle of sorting out beds and unpacking the fire alarm went off.  It was only a fire drill, but the spiral staircase was quite challenging and some of us were glad to be on terra firma.  This is us at the muster point.

Lunch was great...burgers and salad and everyone ate up well.  Just as well as our first activity was to be canoeing!!!
